The impact of Covid-19 on economies, health, and markets is an unfolding story that is complex and fluid in its ever-changing dimensions for any country of the world weather effected slightly or in penetrative.
Due to the pandemic covid-19 the HR practices of the various organizations have been changed as the coronavirus spread invisibly across the globe, nation after nation has declared lockdowns, and organisations have scrambled to comply with lockdown restrictions while striving to keep operations going.
Now the latest culture taking place is work from home(WFH) being implemented more due to this pandemic looking to the trends of flow in organisational and personal cluster as a whole. Some of the organizations are also calling their employees to work in the office while paying attention & taking safety precautions and also allowing their employees to do work from home. Due to this pandemic most of the financial conditions, trade, economy, etc. of the countries like India, USA, France etc. are seen neglected.
The coronavirus pandemic has increased the emphasis on the man to man connection aspect of the HR functions in an organisation. Amid a rapidly unfolding health crisis, HR functions geared up to provide critical communication on safety protocols, hygiene practices, emergency numbers, list of hospitals, guidelines for quarantining and isolating, and much more. Many organisations went the to adopt new way to handle their employees stress by setting up online classes for employee wellbeing, motivation and looking for stress free environment.
Employee safety became the prime concern, and HR teams partnered with other functions to define ways of ensuring safety and social distancing compliance at factories and plants that continued to operate because this is what is the hour of need. Organisations must think of regular disinfection of premises, offices, buses, residence and quarters as an essential component of keeping employees safe. The procurement of masks, hand washes, and sanitizers do need to be on regular observation.
Larger remote workforces at villages and semi urban area will for sure push organisations to ramp up technology adoption and digitalization, enable dispersed operations, and collaborative functioning. As organisations get more comfortable with employees working remotely, the requirement for office space and fixed workstations may be less in demand. Organisations may be able to leverage WFH concept to cut costs on all sectors of business models.
Due to this pandemic most of the employees are worries, stressed, & also having negative thoughts. But it is better to think positive & see positive aspect in a negative aspect. To win this pandemic we have to a be a warrior & fight with it while being cautious and taking extra precaution like thoroughly washing hands, wearing facemaskand carrying sanitizers etc. While it is better to stay indoors & not to go out till it is very essential. Let us pray & believe in the Almighty that this phase of the time will go & good time will come. Be ready to face the consequences whether it is positive or negative as it will teach us something valuable and encourage us more.
